Ja’Shae Jones is no stranger to work ethic and diligence. Born and raised in Ohio she has been working since she was fifteen in the retail industry and has continued today in California. She is a driven and ambitious individual with a passion for the fashion industry. Through her educational background as a student of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and plentiful experiences in retail, merchandising, marketing, and communications, she has established an extensive skills set and a strong work ethic. Ja’Shae is able to use her knowledge of the retail industry to implement proper marketing and merchandising strategies and conduct category, trend, and competitive analysis. She is confident in her analytical competence, strong communication skills, computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel, and developed merchandise presentation skills. Along with this, she is proficient in formulating a six month buy plan and promotional planning. Ja’Shae is eager to take the necessary steps to reach her future goals in a fashion industry career.
